Having worked with the European Commission since 2002, he has held various roles, including Deputy Head of Unit and Head of Unit for several geographical regions, with a strong focus on Cohesion and Regional Policy. Throughout his career, he has garnered in-depth experience in shaping and implementing policies that promote regional development and economic growth. Currently, he oversees Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovenia Unit. Fluent in English, French, and German, with a basic understanding of Spanish, Andreas von Busch is well-versed in navigating European policy landscapes and is a knowledgeable voice on the complexities of regional policy and cohesion.
