Mr. Hamers has been an Executive Director of Geotechmin OOD since November 2011 and a member of the Supervisory Board of Ellatzite Med AD, part of the GEOTECHMIN Group.
Mr. Hamers has 30 years of experience in the spheres of commercial operations and business development in the non-ferrous metals industry, where he occupied senior management positions. Before joining the GEOTECHMIN Group, he worked for a large Belgian industrial company in the field of metal production.
His work experience includes several years of project engagements in Bulgaria, Russia and China.
Mr. Hamers holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering (specializing in Banking and Finance) from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. He also holds a number of executive graduations at INSEAD and London Business School.
