Eng. Martin Georgiev is responsible for upgrading and optimizing the company's existing leading portfolio of products and services in Bulgaria, with a focus on implementing innovative technologies in the management of renewable energy producers and energy storage systems.
During the period May 2022 – March 2025, Eng. Georgiev held the position of Executive Director of the National Electric Company (NEC). Under his leadership, key rehabilitation projects were completed for critical assets, including hydraulic unit 2 at the Chaira Pumped Storage Power Plant, and the construction of new pumped-storage capacity was initiated. During this period, NEC achieved excellent financial results.
