Matteo Pugliese

Matteo Pugliese, PhD, is a Senior Analyst at Debunk.org, a Lithuanian NGO specialized in monitoring information manipulation and interference. On this topic, he trained analysts, journalists and public officials in Moldova, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, and participated in monitoring missions of election interference in Germany and Moldova. He earned his PhD in political science and law from the University of Barcelona. He is an associate fellow of the Center for the Study of Russia at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a lecturer for Luiss University of Rome. Previously, he served as a reserve officer of Italian Carabinieri, a police and military force, at the International Cooperation Department.
