Prof. Dr. Marko Aleksandrović is an established university lecturer, researcher, and expert in the fields of sports, adapted physical activity, and inclusive education. His academic and professional work is closely associated with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at the University of Niš, Serbia.

His research interests focus on adapted physical activity, sport for people with disabilities, kinesiology, swimming, and social inclusion through sport. Over the years, Prof. Aleksandrović has participated in numerous international scientific and educational projects, Erasmus+ programmes, and initiatives aimed at developing an inclusive sports environment and improving the quality of life for people with special needs.

He is the author of a significant number of scientific publications, university textbooks, and studies published in international academic journals and presented at prestigious forums across Europe. His professional career includes specialisations and teaching engagements at universities and research centres in Belgium, Spain, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Greece, and other European countries.

In addition to his academic work, Prof. Aleksandrović actively contributes to the development of adapted sport and parasport in the Balkans. He is among the founders and driving forces behind a number of initiatives related to wheelchair basketball, adapted swimming, and social inclusion through physical activity. His work is directed not only toward academic advancement, but also toward building a more accessible and supportive environment for people with disabilities.
