Svetla Nestorova took the helm of PAC Doverie in March 2024. Prior to this, from 2004 to 2024, she was part of the team at ZEAD Bulstrad Life Vienna Insurance Group — initially as Marketing and Sales Director, and from 2006 until March 2024 as Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board.
She served two terms as Chairperson of the Management Board, four years as Deputy Chairperson, and ten consecutive years as a member of the Management Board of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers. In parallel, she chaired the Association’s Life Insurance Committee for six years.
Her international experience includes four years as a member of the Executive Committee of Insurance Europe and one year as a member of its Strategic Committee.
Ms. Nestorova is also Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of the “Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski” Foundation. She is the recipient of the “Manager of the Year” award for 2019, as well as the Foundation’s special award for her overall contribution to the development of the Bulgarian insurance sector.
