Svetoslav Velinov is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pension Insurance Company “DSK-Rodina” AD and Head of the “Global Markets” Division at “DSK Bank” AD. His career in capital markets began in 1999. He has extensive experience in the banking sector, having held senior positions at ING Bank – Sofia and DSK Bank, as well as in asset management and investment intermediation.
He also has experience in hedge funds and CTAs (Commodity Trading Advisors), gained during his work at Schneeweis Partners LLC in the United States. He holds a master’s degree from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, and a bachelor’s degree from the American University in Bulgaria.
Svetoslav Velinov is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA charter holder) and a licensed investment consultant.
